Job Description

WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:

Working 5 days over 7 (every Other weekend) 35 Hrs per week

Assist the Head Chef/Sous Chef in the kitchen operation and ensure the company’s reputation for food quality is maintained at all times.

Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items as directed by the Manager

Contribute to the development and planning of menus, including future food trends and be passionate about developing new styles of service and concepts in the location.

Carry out the smooth and efficient running of food service as appropriate.

Salary:  £22 ph Days 08:00 to 16:00

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

Leaving Cert level education or above

NVQ qualification or equivalent

Successful progressive background in catering

Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service

Flair and innovative with menus and food presentation

Good listening skills

The Role
Our Hotels  is seeking to appoint experienced Domestic Assistant(s)/Cleaner(s) to join our friendly and professional housekeeping team. As valued members of our housekeeping team you will be responsible for the servicing and cleaning of Hotel rooms, offices, bathrooms, kitchens, communal and conferencing areas. You should be able to work efficiently and effectively with minimum supervision and be flexible to assist other members of staff when required. Successful candidates will preferably have previous cleaning experience, be flexible in their approach and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. Full in-house training will be provided.
This role is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week), the hours of work are required over 5 out of 7 days, generally Monday to Friday, however some flexibility may be required, on occasion, to undertake weekend work.
